INVEST MINAS

INVEST MINAS is Minas Gerais’ investment and foreign trade promotion agency, headquartered in the city of Belo Horizonte.
INVEST MINAS’s mission is to develop MG by attracting investments, supporting established companies and promoting exports.
Founded in 1968, it was the first investment promotion agency in Brazil, serving as a model for the creation of similar institutions in Brazil. The Agency is linked to the Minas Gerais State Economic Development Secretariat (SEDE) and is maintained by the Minas Gerais Economic Development Company (CODEMIG) and the Minas Gerais Development Bank (BDMG).
INVEST MINAS recently became director for South America of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), which has among its members the world’s leading investment promotion agencies. This projects the state of Minas Gerais internationally, enhancing the work of Indi.
